This impressive powerful gelding is definitely one for the big tracks in the future, careful but also shows huge power and scope with a willing attitude for job.
This is all not surprising with the pedigree he boasts… his sire is the 1:60m top jumper and producer Cabrio Z (Van De Heffinck) who with Olivier Philippaerts in the saddle won the Nations Cup final in Barcelona, the Nations Cup in Aachen and even the prestigious ‘Million-Dollar Grand Prix’ of Calgary, Spruce Meadows! Cabrio’s sire is the great Cassini I.
Ceylon’s dams sire is non other than the world renowned 1:60m jumping stallion Lux Z, known for being hugely influential on the mare line and producing jumpers.
