Maryland OS is from a family of famous 1.60m jumpers. Her mother (Tinka's Showtime) is by Tinka’s Boy who won all over the world with winnings over 2.5million SF with Nick Skelton and Markus Fuchs. Tinka’s Showtime is the sister to Blue Movie, ridden by the Australian Rowan Willis. Blue Movie has jumped all over the world stage including at the World Equestrian Games in 2018 plus also having many 5* Grand Prix placing such as a 2nd in the Rolex Grand Prix in Calgary. The Grand Dam of Maryland is the world famous 1.60m mare Showtime ridden by Nick Skelton, who competed in many 5* Nation Cup Teams, World Cup Final in 1997 and the Olympic Games in 1996. The sire Ustinov jumped internationally up to 1.50m level in Germany under Caroline Müller, having been successful in international young horse classes. He was the champion stallion of his 2004 KWPN licensing, and was reserve champion of the 2008 KWPN Stallion Competition.
Maryland shows fantastic quality, willingness to learn and correct technique on the loose, she looks to follow her impressive family in the sport.
