Cornet's Clear Impression is out of a mare who jumped 1.30 successfully until injured and has now bred several foals, the first will be entering the ring this year.
She was graded gold elite at the British Futurity in 2020 as a foal and has an outstanding loose jumping technique as well as great conformation and a good uphill stride. She is easy to handle and is currently 16hh should mature at 16.2hh
Her dam line goes back to the very popular stallion Clearway who has Capitol and Lord in his lines.
Cornets Pleasure WW is by the outstanding stallion Cornet Obolensky, one of the world’s top show-jumping stallions, having already produced more than 60 approved stallions and more than 100 horses jumping at 1.60m and above. Among his most famous offspring are Clooney 51, winner of the 2019 European Championships gold individual medal with Switzerland’s Marcus Fuchs, Cornet d’Amour Cornado NRW, Comme Il Faut and Corbinian.
Cornet’s good looks, temperament and outstanding technique and scope, passed on to his offspring, have seen him counted amongst the best stallions in the world for heritability and reliability. His sire, Clinton, is also one of the world’s elite jumpers, fourth individually at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, and included on the fifth placed Belgian team at the European Championships is 2005. In total Clinton has produced more than 70 grand prix horses and over 60 licenced sons.
His dam is the top mare Jella Ariane vd Bucxtale, herself by another world-famous stallion, For Pleasure. She qualified for the prestigious Foxhunter final at HOYS before retiring to stud. She is full sister to Scott Brash’s 1.60 horse Hello Forever, and to the 1.60 stallion Eurocommerce Vaillant
Hello Forever has been a prolific winner on the Global Champions Tour, with wins including the American Invitational at LGCT Miami, the Grand Prix of Cannes (CSI5*), taking second at the CSI5* grand prix, GCCT, Shanghai, winning two 5* classes at LGCT Mexico, and winning a CSI5* at the LGCT final in Doha, worth US$153,000.
For Pleasure was labelled the Hanoverian sire of the century and combined suppleness, scope and attitude, all reliably passed on to his foals. He retired at the age of 20, winning his last ever class, the Leipzig World Cup qualifier.
